You can stay connected even when you move houses by following this easy, stress-free Moving House process.
Firstly there are many different fibre network operators and each focus on different areas in the country. Each working slightly differently to the other. Each fibre box (ONT) has a unique number connected to that specific address which in turn is connected to the ISP. Therefore one cannot just move your router to the next place and expect to have internet. It simply wont work.
Therefore you would need to follow the following to ensure we “move” you to the next house and keep providing you with internet throughout.
All current services require a calender month notice. If you moving to a new place end of December 2023 (for example) then please ensure your cancellation reaches us anytime in November. If you moving end of January 2023 then please send the cancellation anywhere in December 2022 for end of January 2023. Cancellation must be sent to accounts@intensefibre.co.za which will take care of it for you. Accounts will in turn cancel the fibre with the current fibre network operator to ensure that the people who move in after you will be able to have their ISP activate the line. You are always welcome to recommend us and we can then seed the fibre package to them (without the line being cancelled and re activated again, basically stays on) and we move invoicing for that address to the new tenant/owner. They just need to signup as a new client on our website.
Then for your new place we would love to be off assistance and get you connected again asap. Please send your new address you are moving to, to sales@intensefibre.co.za who will check which fibre network operator is available and provide you with the pricing for the packages. As you are already a client no need to fill in more applications, simply reply back to our mail and we will take care of the rest.
What happens if the new place I am moving to have not got fibre?
